Funeral service for Ethel Mae Bacon of Simmesport will begin at 11:00am on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport with Fr. Paul Kunnumpuram officiating. Burial will follow at Christ the King Cemetery.

Ethel Mae Bacon, age 91, passed away in Denham Springs on Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was a loving mother & grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Susan Stout and Brent Bacon and his wife Irene; sisters, Sylvia Dufour and Joyce Wall. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milburn Bacon; parents, Douglas Moreau & Winnie Bernard Moreau; sisters, Sybil Moreau, Felma Bordelon, and Madia Ducote; brothers, Parker Moreau, Dave Moreau, and Gene Moreau; son-in-law, Lee Stout.  

Visitation will begin at 10:00am until 11:00am on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport.
