Funeral Mass for Elaine P. Johnson of Moreauville will begin at 11am on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Moreauville. Entombment will be in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

Elaine Johnson, age 89, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Riviere de Soleil Community Care Center in Mansura.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Col. Conrad Meyer (Sibera); sister, Hattie Blackman of Moreauville; three grandchildren: Roderic Meyer (Susanna), Dr. Lindsay Meyer Turner, & Jason Meyer; four great-grandchildren: Jaden, Isis, Marley, & Micah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon Johnson, SR. & Virgie Marie Jacobs Johnson; five brothers, Simon, Jr., Roman, Sterling, Vernon, & Charles.

Visitation will begin at 8am until 10:45am on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville.
