Bobby Gaspard

Funeral service for Bobby “BG” Gaspard of Big Bend will begin at 10:00am on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Bayou Des Glaises Baptist Church 7526 HWY 451 Moreauville, LA 71355. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Bobby “BG” Gaspard, age 74, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at his home in Big Bend.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirley Gaspard; step-son, Michael Bordelon; sisters, Dale Gaspard, Irene Strong, June Mayeaux, Emma Bandy, & Tammy Clark; brothers, Eddie Ray Gaspard, Hank Gaspard, Billy Gaspard, Carl Gaspard, & Ernest Gaspard. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Joseph Lemoine, Lyle Bordelon-Walker, & Ila Bordelon-Walker and his dog, Buddy Bordelon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Gaspard & Lizzie Martine Gaspard; step-daughter, Roberta Serio.

Visitation will begin at Bayou Des Glaises Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 5:00pm continuing all night until the time of service on Thursday, May 27, 2021.
