Funeral services for Wayne Barrere of Mansura will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Thursday, June 2, 2011, beginning at 10:00am. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Thursday morning at 8:00am. Interment will commence at the St. Peters Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
Wayne Barrere, age 65, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Monday, May 30, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Forest Carrie Barrere brother, Daniel Barrere. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Barrere of Mansura daughter, Nicole husband Kenny Bordelon of Mansura grandchildren, Kylie Lemoine, Jordyn Bordelon, Ethan Bordelon motherinlaw, Patricia Illgen of Tioga brotherinlaw John wife Kandace Illgen of Santa Barbara, CA nieces, Michele husband Robert Guilford, Anne Illgen nephew, Timothy Illgen greatnieces, Sophia, Owen, Olivia Guilford.
