Violet Bordelon Reech

Funeral Mass for Violet Bordelon Reech of Bordelonville will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Bordelonville with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. The interment will be held on a future date.   

Violet Bordelon Reech, age 80, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She is finally together again with her loving husband, Ray Reech, Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: April (Tony) Bordelon of Bordelonville, Ray Paul “Squirt” Reech, Jr. of Big Bend, and Kevin (Michelle) Reech of Big Bend; siblings, Carol Bordelon, Alberta Laborde, Ellis Bordelon, and Brian Bordelon. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren with one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Reech, Sr.; brother, Clyde Bordelon; daughter-in-law, Roxanne Reech; parents, Caffry & Hester Bordelon.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm until the time of service on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at St. Peter's Church Hall in Bordelonville.
