Funeral Mass for Verlie Ann Pierre of Moreauville will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Moreauville with Fr. Jose Pallipurath officiating. Burial will be held at Sacred Heart No. 2 Cemetery.

Verlie Pierre, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at her home in Moreauville.

Those left to cherish her loving memory are daughter, Faye (James Thomas) Pierre; sons, Marshall (Sincere) Pierre and Huey Pierre, Sr.; sister, Mary Blackman. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Joseph W. Pierre, III, Jacobian Pierre, Kasey Pierre, Jermaine Pierre, Sr., Shane Pierre, Shawn Pierre, Lance Pierre, Camry Pierre, Huey Pierre, Jr. Alaina Williams, and Kyle James; two great-grandchildren: Jermaine Pierre, Jr., and A’Riyah Pierre.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael Pierre and Patrick Pierre; husband, Joseph Pierre, II; parents, Mitchell Augustine, Sr. and Odelia Benjamin Augustine; brothers, Mitchell Augustine, Jr. and Huey Augustine.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 11:00am on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville.
