Una Juneau

Funeral services for Una Marie Juneau of Cottonport will take place at the St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 beginning at 10:00am. Visitation will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00 and will re-open the following morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Mary's Catholic Mausoleum #2.
Una Juneau, age 83, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016. She retired from the Avoyelles Parish School Board System. She was a member and past President of the American Legion Auxillary Unit 186, member of the Catholic Daughters, Ladies Altar Society and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport. She was also active in Bingo every Thursday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Juneau; parents, Herbert & Lula Bell Firmin; brothers, Marvin Firmin & Edwin Firmin; sister, Grace Edmonds. She is survived by her daughters, Charlene Lemoine of Cottonport, Margaret Lachney (C.J.) of Cottonport, Phyllis Dickinson (Virgus) of Denham Springs; brothers, Arnold Firmin of Cottonport, Herbert Firmin, Jr. of Prairieville, Lillie Ducote of Cottonport; step-son James Juneau (Yvonne) of Lafayette; her eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, & two great-great-grandchildren.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
