Funeral services for Sybil Moreau Bailey of Simmesport will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport, beginning at 2:00pm. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport prior to the funeral, beginning at 8:00am with a rosary cited at 10:00am. Sybil Bailey, age 84, passed away at Colonial Nursing Home on Thursday, October 27, 2009. She is preceded in death by her; husband, Roy Bailey; parents, Douglas Winnie Bernard Moreau; brother, Eugene Moreau. She is survived by her; brothers, Parker Moreau of Simmesport, David Moreau of Simmesport; sisters, Felma Bordelon of Lettsworth, Sylvia Dufour of Kenner, Madia Ducote of Baton Rouge, Ethel Bacon of Baton Rouge, Joyce Wall of Simmesport. Pallbearers will include; Curtis Lemoine, Ken Moak, Richard Wall, Robert Dunbar, Perry Dufour, David Moreau. Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
