Funeral services for Sharon Ann Gauthier of Cottonport will take place at the St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 beginning at 10:00am. Visitation will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume on Tuesday morning at 8:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery #2.
Sharon Gauthier, age 67, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 31, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Ethel Ortego Cooper, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Huron Gauthier, Sr. of Cottonport; her children, Lisa Meche (Joey), Randy Gauthier, Vicky Gauthier (Jamie), Bobby Gauthier (Kim), all of Cottonport, and Huron Gauthier, Jr. (Casey) of Pineville; grandchildren, Ashley Foret (Lance), Casey Meche, Courtney Gauthier, Hailey Gauthier, Brooke Gauthier, Alexis Gauthier, Layken Gauthier, Beau Gauthier, Kayleigh Silva, Tristen Gauthier; five step-grandchildren, Austin, Julone, Kaitlyn, Kendal, & Kylee; two great-grandchildren, Elijah Foret & Kinley Smith; her four loving brothers, Paul Marvin Cooper, Sr. (Judy), Curry "Mike" Cooper (Joyce), Clyde Cooper, all of Cottonport, and Harry Cooper (Maryann) of Gardner; and her loving caretaker, who became family Roxanne Dupont.
