Funeral Mass for Sarah Mae Brooks of Mansura will take place at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Mansura on Saturday, April 5, 2025, beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Blake Deshautelle officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Paul Catholic Church in Mansura.

Sarah Mae Brooks, 90 years old, passed away at her residence in Mansura on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Mary Belinda Isaac and D’wan Robertson; her sons, John Ezell Brooks and Calvin Brooks; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Brooks; her daughters, Phyllis “Susie” Brooks and Bridgette Brooks; her son, Wendell Brooks; and her parents, Randolph and Beulah Francisco Prier.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 10:45am on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
