Samuel Dufour

Funeral services for Samuel Dufour will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Bayou Jack Baptist Church in Dupont. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of service.
Mr. Dufour, 73, resident of Plaucheville, died Sunday, January 17, 2016 at his residence in Plaucheville. Mr. Dufour was a carpenter and later joined the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Department from which he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Lillian (Galland) Dufour and a brother Harvey Dufour.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Vickie (McCain) Dufour of Plaucheville; sons, Samuel Craig Dufour of Plaucheville, Shawn Michael (Vicki) Dufour of Plaucheville and Daniel (Melissa) Dufour of Plaucheville; brothers, Dewey Dufour and Alvin Dufour; sisters, Lucille Zerangue, Loretta LaGrange, Margie Kennedy, Janet Guillot, Katherine Desoto, and Shirley Jones; grandchildren, Zachary Hollis Dufour, Logan Matthew Dufour, Hayden Samuel Dufour, Courtney Danielle Dufour, Gabriel Dufour and Eli Dufour.
