Rosemary Bordelon

Funeral Mass for Rosemary Bordelon of Plaucheville will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. Burial will follow at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.

Rosemary Bordelon, age 98, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home in Dupont. Rosemary was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Mater Dolorosa Ladies’ Atlar Society.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Cynthia Mayeaux (Ernest), Karen Lacombe (Rudy), Johnny Bordelon (Judy), Lynn Bordelon all of Plaucheville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Bordelon; parents, Rushian Bordelon and Anita Firmin Bordelon; brother, Erna Bordelon.

Visitation will begin from 8:00am until 10:00am on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville.
