Funeral Mass for Ronald Jude Plauche, Sr. of Lettsworth will begin at 10:30am Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Brian Seiler officiating. Entombment will follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Mausoleum.

Ronald “Jude” Plauche, age 84, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026 at Pointe Coupee Healthcare in New Roads. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Bordelon Plauche; daughter, Celeste Thibodeaux (Larry); sons, Ronald “Ronnie” Plauche, Jr. (Anna) and “Slugger” Plauche (Nickie); stepsons, Justin Kirby (Monica) and Matthew Hall (Chantel); sisters, Marie Bordelon, Mollie Lemoine, and Cynthia Flanders; 7 grandchildren: Macie, Cody, Laylah, Skylar, Blanche, Devan, Trevor; 7 step-grandchildren: Haley, Justin Jr., Kayla, Kenneth, Bruce, Mallorie, and Olivia; 11 great-grandchildren: Hunter, Madison, Bryer, Maisyn, Amelia, Haisley, Wesley, Jeremiah, Averie, Elodie, and Jenesis.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Gauthier Plauche; daughter, Melanie Mary Plauche; brothers, Thomas Plauche and Merlin Plauche; grandson, Chance Thibodeaux.

Visitation will be from 8:00AM until 10:00AM on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. The Holy Rosary will be recited just before Mass at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville
