Funeral Mass for Romelle Patterson will begin at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 at the Christ the King Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.

A visitation with the family will be held at 11:00am at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport on Saturday, August 1st, 2026. The holy rosary will be recited that day at 12:15pm.

On March 12th, 2026 Romelle Kasai Patterson was born to Angele Patterson and Devin Augustine. His life was full of love, happiness, and smiles. Those left to cherish Romelle are his mother, Angele M. Patterson, father Devin Augustine, maternal grandparents, Gloria & Mark Patterson; paternal grandparents, Shavon Augustine, Ronald Rowe, & Bryan Ardoin; uncle, Marcus Patterson; aunts, Megan Patterson, Abigail Patterson, Marlayja Charles, Astonia Ardoin, and Ahyaliya Rowe; cousins, Kingston & Malaya Sampson, Skylar, Jireh, & Kezleigh Patterson, Kayghen Hartford, & Kaizen Charles. Romelle was preceded in death by one uncle, Ronald Rowe.
