Funeral services for Robert Williams of Longbridge will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Little Zion Baptist Church in Longbridge, beginning at 1:00pm. Visitations will also take place at the church, prior to the funeral, beginning at 11:00am. Burial will take place at the Little Zion Baptist Cemetery. Robert Williams, age 65, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 4, 2009. He is survived by his;parents, Joseph Mae Pearl Johnson; wife, Georgia Williams of Moreauville, daughters, Louella Williams, Janie Gibson both of Longbridge, Debra Taylor, Julia Lavalais both of Mansura; sons, Phillip Lavalais of Moreauville, Terry Lavalais of Bunkie; brothers, Joseph Williams of Houston, Larry Johnson of Zachary, John Johnson of Zachary; sister, Betty Williams of Longbridge, Patricia Celestine of Longbridge, Rose Johnson of Lafayette, Carol Craft of Baker. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles. Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
