Funeral services for Rita Mayeaux of Hessmer will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer beginning at 10:30am. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura beginning at 8am until the time of services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Rita Mayeaux, age 92, passed away at the Grace Home in Alexandria on Friday, August 23, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmo Mayeaux and her parents Ulysses Minnie Michot. She is survived by her son Daniel Mayeaux of Hessmer. Those serving as pallbearers will be Cain Merrick, Cody Moras, Douglas Lambert, Ovide Moas, Bobby Daigrepont, and Ted Moulard.
