Funeral service for Rhonda Regina Green of Bunkie will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Rev. Robert E. Woods officiating. Burial will follow at First Union Missionary Baptist Cemetery in Bunkie.

Rhonda Green, age 43, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. Rhonda was not only a devoted mother; she shared a close and loving bond with her siblings. Even on her hardest days, she found a way to smile, always reminding everyone, "I love you". Rhonda cherished her family deeply and truly enjoyed being together, embracing whatever the evening might bring. She was endlessly giving, with a heart of pure gold. Her presence will be missed dearly. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her 5 children, Travis Green, Lamarshay Lindsey, Jolayja Lewis, Joseph Lewis, Jr., and Zacharii Green; 3 sisters, Lakeiosha Green, Lataaka Green, Tiffany Fisher; 2 brothers, Lacurion Webster and Willie Fisher; 2 grandchildren, Harlow Jackson and Baxton Kelly; father of her children, Joseph Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Green Washington; father, Ronnie James Williams; child, Joelyn Lewis; niece, Wykeita Q. Green; maternal grandparents, Horris and Verda Green Christian; paternal grandmother, Joy Faye Williams; the fathers of her children, Lamar Lindsey and Travis Hillard.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 11:00am on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
