Nevaeh Renae Mougeot

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Nevaeh Renae Mougeot. Although you were with us for a moment, you will be loved for a lifetime. She is survived by her parents, Clayton and Kayla (Cook) Mougeot; her brothers, Brayden and Luke Mougeot; Paternal grandparents, Christie Hebert (Chris) and Dale Davis (Rhonda); Maternal great-grandparents, Colleen Caskey, Peter and Tanya Blum; Paternal great-grandparents, Walter and Joyce Allen; Aunts, Callie Davis (William) and Lanie Hebert; Uncles, Caleb Vavasseur (Alex), Christian Mougeot (Paige) and Brandon Cook. 

She is preceded in death by her brother, Kayden Mougeot; Maternal grandparents, Joseph Alywn Cook and Carolyn Renae Cook; Paternal grandfather, Troy Mougeot; Paternal great-grandparents, Floyd and Ruby Vavasseur, Sue Mougeot. 

Nevaeh Renae Mougeot was born on April 11, 2024 and passed on May 31, 2024.

Visitation will be held at Latanache Baptist Church in Batchelor, LA on Monday, June 10, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral service will begin at 12:00pm on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Latanche Baptist Church in Batchelor, LA. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Concluding with a gathering in the church hall. 

The family would like to thank the PICU staff at Lady of Lourdes Women and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette, LA, and to Escude Funeral Home.
