Nettie Gautreaux

Funeral service for Nettie Agnes Gautreaux of Simmesport will take place at the United Life Church of Simmesport on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Daniel Lankford officiating. Burial will take place at the church cemetery.

“Lil Nettie” Gautreaux, age 78, passed away at her home in Simmesport on Saturday, June 28th, 2025. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Shaun Gautreaux (Vanessa), Chrystal Mixon, and Paige Juneau (Paul); grandchildren, Courtney Gunnells, Cory Mixon, Ainsleigh Gautreaux, Brynleigh Gautreaux, and Justus Gautreaux; her 6 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Gene Bonnette and Philip Dozier; and her sisters, Monica Rogers Moore and Bernice McManus. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Justus Gautreaux, Cory Mixon, Shane Thames, Tyson Bonnette, Seth Bonnette, and Clyde Moore; serving as honorary pallbearers are Trey Lemoine, Carter Mixon, and Cooper Gautreaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis “L.F.” Gautreaux; parents, Winn & Nettie Armand Bonnette; and her brothers, David Bonnette and Raymond Bonnette.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 10:00pm on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport and will resume on Thursday morning at 8:00am.
