Murdis Gauthier

Funeral services for Murdis M. Gauthier of Plaucheville will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 beginning at 12pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dupont. Visitation will be held on on Saturday, July 11, 2015 beginning at 9am until time of service with a rosary at 11am at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall. Interment will be at the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Murdis M. Gauthier, age 90, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Abraham; her parents, Ben & Caroline Mayeaux; brothers: Lance Mayeaux, Reese Mayeaux, and Hudson Mayeaux; sisters: Dessie M. Lemoine, Lou M. Lacour, and Nobbie M. Crews.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Eury Gauthier of Plaucheville; daughters, Peggy Lemoine of Plaucheville; son, Glenn (Carleen) Gauthier of Elmer; four grandchildren: Michael, Misty, Joey, and Julie; and five great-grandchildren: Jordan, Payton, Avery, Gauge, and Katlyn.
