Mary Grace Tassin

Funeral Mass for Mary Grace Tassin of Long Bridge will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery #2 in Cottonport.

Mary Grace Tassin, age 91,  passed away on July 31, 2023,  in Lafayette. As a young woman, she enjoyed photography & embroidery. As she got older, she enjoyed reading & keeping up with current events and the news. Most of her life was spent caring for others, first her mother, then her daughter, then her father, and husband.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cindy Mayeux; numerous beloved, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. Tassin; parents, Dennis & Corine Mayeux; siblings, Allen Mayeux and Verline Mayeux Nick.

Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville.
