Celebration of Life for Mary Nell Francisco will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, beginning 11:00 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura, LA.

Visitation will be from 9:00AM until time of service on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura, LA.

Mary Nell Francisco Passed away on June 30, 2026 at Valley View Nursing Home in Marksville, LA.

Mary Nell Known to all as "Nelly" was fun loving with a smile that warmed your heart. Giving advice, conversation, and opening her door to friends of her son. Her home was the place to be on Sundays. Where she cooked a feast for the neighbor hood. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and going to bingo. Nelly was a loyal employee at Nanny's Restaurant for over 30 year, where she was known for her good cooking and welcoming conversation. She enjoyed a good time with family and friends. 

Those left to cherish his memory are Husband, Walter David Francisco; grandson, Deonte Dewayne Batiste; great grand daughter, Kobrielle Batiste; special friend, Diane Prevot; sister-in-law, Mildred Francisco; nephews, Honison Francisco, Christopher Francisco, and Gary Richardson ; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Cornelius Wayne Francisco; parents, Roosevelt Sampson, Sr. and Elnora Titus Sampson; brother, Clarence Jacobs Sr., Roosevelt "Ham" Sampson, Jr.; sisters, Hazel Prevost, Catherine Carmouche, Rose Mary Turner, Eugene Francisco, and Betty McGee.

Those that are honored to serve as pallbearers are Clarence Jacobs, Isaac N. Hebert, Anthony Francisco, Herman Francisco, Shawn McGee Jr. John Titus, Jimmy Francisco, and Larry Louis.

The family would like to acknowledge with profound appreciation the expressions of kindness, love, and support given at this time of our bereavement. Special thanks to Valley View Nursing Home and Heart of Hospice.
