Marvin Ray Guillot, Sr.

Funeral services for Marvin Ray Guillot, Sr. “Smurf” of Hessmer will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 beginning at 1:00 pm in Escude’ Funeral Home of Mansura with Pastor Eric Descant officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Alphonsus Mausoleum in Hessmer.

Marvin Guillot, Sr., 73, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. Smurf proudly served and retired from the United States Army where he had achieved the rank of Command Sargeant Major.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Leoness Mills Guillot.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Dola Mae Lucas Guillot of Hessmer; sons, Marvin Guillot and his wife Melissa of Hessmer, and Tommy Guillot and his wife Tara of Hessmer; sister, Clara Michel of Hessmer; grandchildren, Eric, Zack, Sebastian, Braley, Gauge, Triston; great-grandchildren, Kade, Kegan, Brayden, Jayce, Brazen, Azlyn, Brakely, Chasten, and Cohen.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 beginning at 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at Escude’ Funeral Home of Mansura.
