Funeral services for Marie Daigrepont Cooper of Cottonport will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer, beginning at 2:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura prior to the funeral, beginning at 10:00am, with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez. Entombment will take place at the St. Alphonsus Mausoleum. Marie Cooper, age 83, passed away at Flannery Oaks on Thursday, October 29, 2009. She is preceded in death by her; parents, Emile Irma Michel Daigrepont; husband, John Cooper. She is survived by her; son, Ray Paul Gaspard of Greenwell Springs; grandchildren, Monique Jarreau Shawntelle Davidson; great-grandchildren, Ashley Jarreau, Brad Jarreau. Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
