Margaret Dufour

A retired employee of Rite-Aid with more than 25 years of service, she died at 1:26 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 68, a resident of Port Allen and a native of Moreauville. Visitation at Escude Funeral Home, Moreauville, on Thursday, July 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m., and after 8:30 a.m. Friday. Funeral service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moreauville, on Friday at 11 a.m., with Monsignor John Timmermans officiating. Entombment in Sacred Heart Mausoleum. She is survived by a brother, Levette Dufour Jr. and his wife Linda of Baton Rouge; and nieces: Melissa Dufour of Baton Rouge; and Angela D. Williams and her husband Heath of Wiggins, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her parents, Levette Sr. and Sybil Couvillion Dufour; and stepmother, Germaine S. Dufour.
