Funeral Mass for Madalene Ann White will take place at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in Alexandria, LA on Saturday, October 31, 2026, beginning at 11:00AM. Burial will take place at the St. Paul Cemetery in Mansura, LA.

Madalene Ann White, 88, passed away at her residence in Alexandria, LA on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Those left to cherish her memory are her Daughters, Beryl Seiss Sykes, and Shelia Seiss Parks; Sons, Joseph Seiss, and Charles Seiss Jr.; Sisters, Bernice Dupas, Rosalie Clark, and Mary Ruth Prier. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Wallace and Berdia Sampson Dupas; Son, Glen Seiss; Sisters: Josephine Batiste, Mary Jane Dupas, Mary Clara D. Pembric, Margaret D. Murray, and Margie Theresa D. Linden; Brothers: John Adam Dupas, Augustine William Dupas, Andrew Willis Dupas, Robert Wilson Dupas and Nephew raised as a brother, James Demouy; Grandchildren: Angela Hughes and Marcus Garner; Great-Grandson: Kiontrae House and Great-Great Granddaughter, Foreign Mason. Visitation will begin at 4:00PM until 9:00PM on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura, LA. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm to be followed by words of expression by family and friends. Additional visitation from 9:30-11 AM on Saturday morning at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in Alexandria.
