Lucy Marie Dauzart

A Funeral Mass for Lucy Marie Dauzart, a longtime resident of Lettsworth, will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Babu Vareeth officiating. Following the Mass, Lucy will be laid to rest at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Mausoleum.

Lucy passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the age of 89. A woman of great faith and devotion, she spent her nearly nine decades creating a beautiful legacy that will live on through the many generations of her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Donna Arnouville (Kenneth), Kim Rabalais, and James Dauzart, Jr. (Tracy Pellerin); her brother, Patrick Landry. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joanie Couvillion; husband, James Dauzart, Sr.; grandson, John Michael Jarreau; parents, Lauve & Lucy LeBlanc Landry, son-in-law, Chris Rabalais; and her siblings, Diane Marie Daigrepont, Annielee “Nina” Ortego, John “J.B.” Landry, Roland “Skipper” Landry, and Phillip Landry.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 until time of funeral mass at the St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.
