Services for Lucy Dozier Chatelain, of Moreauville, will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Simmesport. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemtery 2 in Marksville under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport. Lucy Dozier Chatelain, 85, died at Bayou Chateau Nursing Center, Sunday, September 13, 2009. Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Ducote of Simmesport; two sons, Greg Chatelain of Lafayette and Steven Chatelain of San Diego, California; sister, Essel Firmin of Dupont; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by sister, Helen Burns, father, Albert Dozier, mother, Vicotrial Deshotel, son, Randy Chatelain, brother, Nelson Dozier. Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport Monday September 14, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m.
