Funeral service for Lois Marie Jenkins of Marksville will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the New Light Baptist Church in Evergreen with Rev. Ford officiating. Burial will follow at the New Light Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the New Light Baptist Church in Evergreen.
Lois Marie Jenkins, age 66, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Valley View Nursing Home in Marksville.
Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Donald Ray Jenkins of Alexandria and Littie Edna Jenkins of Hessmer; two children she raised, Kentravious Hayes and Shameka Hayes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edna Lillie and Huey Paul Long Jenkins; son, Lionel Jenkins; siblings, Audrey Jenkins, Gerald Lee Jenkins, and Jackie Mae Jenkins.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Escude Funeral Home of Mansura.
