Memorial services for Lena Ann Moreau Gauthier of Cottonport will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 beginning at 10am at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Lena Gauthier, age 71, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Grace Home Hospice in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her parents, Moore J. & Velma Couvillon Moreau; brother & sister-in-law, Aubrey & Iris Moreau; nephew Aubrey Moreau, Jr. Lena will be missed dearly by family & friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 36 years, Sidney "Pit" Gauthier of Cottonport; two daughters, Cindy Woods and Renee Mayeux (Joe) both of Simmesport; brother, Lee Moreau (Pat) of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Shawn Gaspard, Alex Naquin, & Kelsi Mayeux; three step-grandchildren, Brandon, Randy, & Joey Mayeux; three great-grandchildren: Jonathan Adams, Rebecca Gaspard, & Skylar Gaspard; six step-great-grandchildren, Ashley, Caleb, Landon, Bree, Carlee, & Jace Mayeux; and one great-great-grandchild, Zeke Adams; and three nieces & two nephews.
