Funeral Mass for Lawrence Johnson of resident of Kimberling City, MO formerly of Mansura, will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Military honors & burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Lawrence Anthony Johnson of Kimberling City, Missouri passed away on December 8, 2020 at the age of 86.

Lawrence retired after twenty years in the Air Force and then retired from the Postal Service. He was an avid gardener and woodworker. His favorite pastimes were restoring antique furniture and tending his vegetable garden.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Johnson; children, Debra McCrary (Wade), Jacqueline Bordelon (Alice), Tina Atwell (Jason), and Earl Johnson (Stephanie); brothers, Kenneth, Charles, Noland, and Robert Johnson; sister, Linda Morgan; grandchildren: Marie, Veronica, Jason, and Benjamin; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Connor, Mia, Henry, Jillian, and Gabriella; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ann Johnson; sisters, Peggy Bordelon and Martha Courville, and brothers, Michael and Marvin Johnson.

Visitation will begin at 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura and will resume at 9:00am until time of service on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
