Kenneth Joseph Rachal

Funeral Mass for Kenneth Joseph Rachal of Hessmer will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer on Friday, January 5^th, 2024 beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Dwight De Jesus officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Mausoleum.
Kenneth Rachal, age 69, passed away at Lafayette General Hospital on Monday, January 1^st, 2024.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Joseph Rachal and Andrew Rachal; the mother of his children, Fran Appelbaum; and his nieces, Chantel Burwash (Grant) and Candice Wilson (late husband, Jeremy).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Havard & Marjorie Vidrine Rachal; and his brother, Glenn Rachal.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, January 4^th, 2024 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura and will resume on Friday morning at 8:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Kenneth’s name to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
