Funeral service for Kenneth Wayne Jones of Marksville will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Rev. Charles Guillory officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Community Church Baptist Cemetery in Marksville.

Kenneth Wayne Jones, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at his home in Marksville. Wayne, as he was fondly known, was a lifelong resident of Marksville who graduated from Marksville High School in 1979. Wayne played the drums in the band and was Certified as an Automobile Mechanic at CDC in Cottonport. Wayne was baptized at an early age by Rev. Remus Thomas at St. John. He was well known around town, often spotted riding his bicycle throughout the day.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Sheila Jones-Lilley (Myron) of San Bernardino, CA; nephew, Quinton Lilley (Danise) of Ft. Worth, TX, and nieces Noelle Lilley Ashun (Richard) of New York City, NY, and Danielle Lilley of Houston, TX; and his great-niece, Daniya Lilley of Ft. Worth, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Jones & Priscilla Gilbert Jones.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am until 11:00am on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
