Funeral Mass for Kathryn Ducote of Cottonport will take place at the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church on Monday, August 18th, 2025 beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Charlie Ray officiating. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:00am with a Holy Rosary before the funeral mass.

Kathryn Ducote, age 77, passed away at her home in Cottonport on Friday, August 15th, 2025. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Carl A. Ducote; her sons, Toby Ducote (Rosina) and Guy Ducote, Sr.; grandchildren, Alyssa Coakley, Abigael Ducote Foster Worley, Jacob Ducote, Guy Ducote, Jr., Luke Ducote, Cameron Ducote, Kai Ducote and Zoe Ducote; her great-grandchildren, Brayson Shubert, Bowen Shubert, Eli Worley, Thomas Worley, and Jaxton Ducote. She is also survived by her siblings, Karen Descant and Glenn DeMars; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Teresa Prevot Juneau and Herman DeMars; her brother, Larry DeMars.
