Karen Marie Jeansonne

Funeral service for Karen Marie Jeansonne of Mansura will begin at 12:00pm on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Pastor David Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the Our Lady of Lourdes #3 Cemetery in Fifth Ward. 

Karen Jeansonne, age 45, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at her home in Bunkie.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Selena Mott and Trinity Jeansonne; son, Nyzayiah Jeansonne; mother, Brenda Jeansonne; father, Kevin Barzas (Tammy); brothers, Kyle (Phyllis) Jeansonne and Dellan Barzas.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Jeansonne; maternal grandparents, Jimmy & Verlie Jeansonne and paternal grandparents, Vorance & Nell Barzas.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 12:00pm on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
