Funeral services for Joyce Marie Brown of Houston will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Odenburg.

Ms. Brown, 58, passed away at her residence in Houston on July 5, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Seymour Robinson and Elzina Brown; brother, Wilson Brown and a sister Alice Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, John Walker of Houston, TX; daughters, Yolanda Watson of Simmesport, and Brittany Walker of Houston; step children, Angelie Blaze and Cedric Hawthorne both of Houston; siblings, Barbara Thompson of Marksville, Jerry Davis of Houston, TX, Patricia Brown of Houston, TX, Operis Brown of Houston, TX, Alvin Brown of Houston, TX, Charlie Robinson of Jacksonville, TX and Jim Brown of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Escude’ Funeral home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
