Johnny Gipson, age 89, of Simmesport, LA, died Friday, April 4, 2008, at Bayou Chateau Nursing Center in Simmesport, LA. He is survived by one son, Cleveland Gipson of Odenburg, LA; one sister, Leana Valent; and three Grand Children The family will receive friends from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Odenburg. Funeral service will follow at Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Odenburg at 11:00a.m. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Escude Funeral Home , Mansura, LA
