Jim Gregory Prier

Funeral Mass for James “Jim” Prier of Mansura will take place at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church of Mansura on November 22nd, 2025 beginning at 12:00pm with Fr. Blake Deshautelle officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.

Jim Prier, age 67, passed away on Monday, November 10th, 2025. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janice Prier; sons, Nicholas Prier (Amanda) and Brandon Prier; siblings, Gilda Prier Augustine, Allen Prier, Jr., Marcia E. Demouy, and Kenneth W. Prier. He is also survived by his five grandchildren; London Prier, Karson Prier, Mason Prier, Remi Prier, and Ashton Prier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen, Sr. & Lillian Brooks Prier.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura until time of funeral mass.
