Jean Ford

Funeral services for Jean Marie Ford will take place on Saturday, January 23, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Escude' Funeral Home of Mansura. Burial will follow in the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Cottonport.

*A time to be born:

Jean Marie Ford was born November 6, 1948 to George Ford, Sr. and Ida Ford. She accepted Christ at an early age.

*A time of peace:

She went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ida Ford; lifelong partner, Curtis Hagger; son, Curtis Ford; brothers, George and Jimmy Ford; sisters, Lovey Martin, Mary Augustine, and Waver Lavalais.

*A time of remembering:

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, three daughters, Monique Ford of Cottonport, Florence Jones of Opelousas, and Linda Jones of Baton Rouge; four sons, Michael Ford of Alexandria, Samuel Jones, Jr. of Cottonport, Albert Lewis of Pineville, and Gary Jones of Mansura; forty three (43) grandchildren; two brothers, Davis Ford and Raymond Ford both of Marksville; sister, Emily Jacobs of Marksville. A host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 23, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Escude' Funeral Home of Mansura.
