Funeral services for Huntley Scallan of Mansura will take place at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church of Mansura on Saturday, August 17, 2013, beginning at 10:00am. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Friday, August 16, 2013, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and will resume Saturday morning at 8:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Huntley Scallan, age 87, passed away at the Valley View Nursing Home on Monday, August 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, George, Sr. Florisca Ducote Scallan sisters, Agnes Daigrepont, and Leona Dutel brothers, George Scallan, Jr., Eddie Scallan, Ivy Scallan, Joe Scallan, Raymond Scallan, Huron Scallan, Stravis Scallan, and Jules Scallan. He is survived by his wife Wilma West Scallan of Mansura children, Terry Scallan Suzanne of Cameron, NC, Robert Scallan Lisa of Naples, FL, Tonia Lemoine Tim of Mansura, Sandra Quebedeaux Errol of Woodworth, Mona Sturges Mark of Greenwell Springs thirteen grandchildren twentyone greatgrandchildren sister, Martha Lemoine of Mansura.
