He was the son of the late Widdie Rachal and the late Eunice Jeansonne Rachal. He is survived by his wife Maynola Rachalof Mansura; Daughter-Verona Rachal Beverly of Montgomery, Ala. Sister-Genevie Ducote of Baker, La. Brother-Havard Rachal of Mansura, La. Two grandchildren Four great-grandchildren Five great-great grandchildren Arrangements are being handled by Escude Funeral Home, Mansura, La., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Friday, September 1, 2006. Funeral service will be at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Hessmer, La. at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 2, 2006 , Msgr. John Timmermans officiating. Interment will be at St. Alphonsus Mausoleum in Hessmer, La.
