Funeral service for Hector Paul Batiste will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Little Zion Baptist Church in Long Bridge with Pastor Vernon Simon officiating. Burial and Military Honors will be held at Little Zion Baptist Cemetery.

Hector Paul Batiste, 58, passed away at his residence in Cottonport, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Inez Benjamin Batiste; son, Trayon Batiste (Zodian); daughter, Paulsya Batiste; sisters, Sandra Batiste, Monica Batiste, Inez Marie Louis, Julie Sampson, Dorothy Williams, Janice Johnson; brothers, Patrick Batiste and Stanley Daranda; grandchildren, Trayon Batiste Jr., Kayden Morris, and Tahj Batiste.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hector Batiste, Jr.; daughter, Paula Batiste; and brother, Joseph Lacarte.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 9:00AM until the time of service at Little Zion Baptist Church in Long Bridge.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Escude Funeral Home.
