Glynn Joseph Firmin Sr.

Glynn Joseph Firmin Sr., age 71, passed away on November 30, 2025, at his residence in Simmesport, LA. 

Funeral Mass for Glenn Firmin Sr. will begin at 11:30AM, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Burial will follow at Christ the King Mausoleum. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, 5:00PM to 9:00PM, at Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport, LA. Rosary will be recited at 7:00PM.

Visitation will resume on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 8:00AM until funeral mass, at Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport, LA.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gail Firmin; two sons, Beau Firmin and Glynn Firmin Jr.; Grandchildren, Garret Firmin (Baylee Lemoine), Hayden Firmin, Connor Firmin, Aubrey Firmin; nephew, John Deshotel Jr.; and special family members, Ashley Couvillion Firmin and Jennifer Gaspard Firmin. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Levy John Firmin Jr. and Dorothy May Smith Firmin; sister, Bobby Joe Ann Firmin Deshotel.

Those honored to be pallbearers are: Connor Firmin, Hayden Firmin, Garret Firmin, Beau Firmin, Glynn Firmin Jr., Brad Firmin; honorary, Earie Chesne Sr.; and cross bearer, Aubrey Firmin.
