Funeral Mass for Geraldine Theresa Laborde Villemarette of Hessmer will take place at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Kenneth Michiels officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Mausoleum.

Geraldine Villemarette, age 87, passed away at Avoyelles Hospital on Monday, September 15th, 2025. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Blaine Villemarette (Stephanie), Sandy Villemarette, and Ivan Villemarette, Jr. (Tessa); and her sister, Delores Gremillon. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice Jackson; husband, Ivan Villemarette, Sr.; mother, Alicia Gaillard LaBorde; father, Allen LaBorde; step-mother, Ann Bordelon Laborde; her brother, Malcolm LaBorde.

Visitation will begin at 8:30am until 10:30am on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura with the Holy Rosary at 9:30am.
