Funeral service for Geraldine Marie Sampson Jenkins will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport with Father John Wiltse officiating.

God called Geraldine Marie Sampson Jenkins home on May 29th, 2021 at the age of 68.

Geraldine Marie Sampson Jenkins was born on December 9th, 1952, to parents: Daniel Sampson and Catherine Jean-Baptiste Sampson. Both of whom have preceded her in death.  Also preceded in death are husband, Joseph Jenkins; 5 Aunts: Elsie Augustine, Mable Augustine, Marie Eola Francisco, Selina (Celina) Batiste, Mary Lavalais; 1 uncle: Preston Baptiste.  1 Nephew: Wilbert Dobison, Jr.  and  3 great nieces: Megan Camille Jackson, Aleshia Dobison and Karisha Heggar.

Geraldine is survived by 2 daughters: Shalonda Ann Sampson and Stacey Marie Jenkins (Domestic Partner: Travis Williams (26 years))

2 granddaughters: Tatiana Z. Williams and Tamia A. Williams

1 grandson: Travoris M Jenkins

Siblings: Catherine Heggar, Dorothy Dupas, Rosemary Benjamin, Elizabeth Dobison, Louvenia Jackson, Waver Tassin

Irving Sampson, Phillip Sampson, Andrew Sampson, and James Sampson

Sister-in-laws: Doris Sampson and Sara Sampson

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home.
