Gene Joseph Bordelon, Jr.

Funeral Mass for Gene Joseph Bordelon, Jr. of Simmesport will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bordelonville with Fr. Paul Kunnumpuram officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Gene Joseph Bordelon, Jr., age 53, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Blade Bordelon, Aden Bordelon, Kenzie Bordelon; sister, Suzanne Roberts (Merrick); fiancé, Alison; and sweet grandbaby, Saige Claire.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Joseph Bordelon, Sr. and Barbara Mayberry Bordelon; his brother, Presley James “PJ” Bordelon.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville and will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Aden Bordelon, Blade Bordelon, Riley Plauche, Joe Bordelon, Butch Adams, and Chris Bordelon.
