Francis Harris

Funeral service for Francis "Guessie" Ford Harris of Bordelonville will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 beginning at 11am at St. James Baptist Church in Bordelonville. Burial will follow at St. James Baptist Cemetery.
Francis "Guessie" Ford Harris, age 101, received her heavenly crown on Saturday, January 25, 2019 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.
Those left to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Jacqueline (Jimmy) Kelly of Marksville, Kitty (Charles) Wagner of Poland, Dollie (Lester) Brown and Deola Harris both of Bordelonville; son (taken in as her own), Paul James of Marksville; sister, Mary Mae Ballard of Bordelonville; twenty-three grandchildren; host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ida Ford & Delinsey Ford; four children; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will begin at 5pm until 10pm on Friday, February 1, 2019 at St. James Baptist Church in Bordelonville. Visitation will resume at 9am until time of service on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. James Baptist church.
