Frances Ducote

Born in Moreauville, LA. and a resident of Cottonport, LA. She was a member of St Marys Assumption Church and St. Marys Altar Society. She is survived by a son, Huron Jr. and his wife Inez Ducote of Baton Rouge, 4 grandchildren Lisa Ducote Harvey and husband Ted, Plaquemine; Ellen Ducote, Baton Rouge; John Ducote and wife Becky, Panama City Beach, FL; Tim Ducote, Baton Rouge; 5 great-grandchildren Kyle Harvey, Nashville, TN; Korey Harvey and Tyler Harvey, Baton Rouge; Amber Mickelic and Cassandra Ducote, Panama City Beach, FL.; three sisters, Hilda D. Gremillion, Moreauville; Emma D. Blanchard, Metairie; and Lucille D. Couvillion, Cottonport. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Emma Dufour, her husband Huron J. Ducote, Sr.; a son, Wayne C. Ducote: seven brothers, Kinney, Sidney, Carlos, OrrPete, Levette, Robert and Irving Dufour; four sisters Oneida D. Couvillion, Polmire, Bernice and Lelia Dufour. Visitation Friday, October 13 from 11:00am-1pm at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport with services at 1pm at St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport.
