Obituary

Faye Claire Reason

September 11, 1951 – June 10, 2026

Faye Claire Reason, 74, passed away peacefully at Valley View Nursing Home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Claire was known for her quick wit, sharp mind, and unmistakable sense of humor. She never hesitated to share a sarcastic remark when the moment called for it, and those who knew her best could always count on her to make them laugh.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Reason; her daughters, Ashleigh Coyner (Ryan), Andrea Marze (David), and Renee Reason; her son, Lennie Reason (Brittney); her sisters, Marian Winsper, Ann Truex, Mary Nolan, Liz Truex, and Laura Roy; her brother, Joseph Truex; and her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Peyton, Audrey, Everett, Jude, Greyson, Garrett, Owen, and Baylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Faye Truex.

Claire will be remembered for her quick wit, sharp intelligence, and unmistakable sense of humor. She wasn’t one to sugarcoat things and didn’t always say what people wanted to hear, but her family always knew it came from a place of love. She was tough on herself and often expected the best from those around her. Beneath that tough exterior was someone who would do anything for her family when they needed her. She was fiercely herself, and those who knew and loved her wouldn’t have wanted her any other way.
