Funeral service for Evelyn Louise Gunnells "Coo" of Lettsworth will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Grace Community Church in Jacoby with Rev. Larry Thibodeaux officiating. Burial will follow at Gunnells Cemetery in Lettsworth.
Visitation will begin at 8:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Grace Community Church in Jacoby. She had a love of cooking, hunting, playing cards, and cherishing time spent with friends and family. Evelyn's well-known canned beets were a showcasing of her skill and dedication in the kitchen.
Evelyn Louise Gunnells "Coo", age 85, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at her home in Lettsworth.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Marilynn Gunnells; sons, Leon Gunnells and Keith (Jackie) Gunnells; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Gunnells; grandchildren, Brad Gunnells, Kelsey Gunnells Rico, Brandy Gunnells, Gary Guidry, Jr., Brittany Guidry, Natasha Adams, Tonya Desselle, and Cody Gunnells; and special niece, Charlotte McBane.
She was preceded in death by her son; Jerry Gunnells; daughter, Carleen Gunnells; grandson, "Lil" Keith Gunnells; husband, William "T.T." Gunnells, lll; parents, Louis & Azema Brouillette; siblings, Herman Brouillette, Hubert Brouillette, Linscomb "Doc" Brouillette, Elvy Brouillette, Lynnie Prothro, Grace Brener, and Marie Brown.
Those honored to be pallbearers are; Brad Gunnells, Keith Gunnells, Leon Gunnells, Gavin Clark, Shaun Josephs Adams, Shaun Adams, and Adrian Lombardi.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Escude Funeral Home of Mansura.
